- No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottage and within a 2-foot perimeter surrounding the cottage. This includes all forms of smoking, such as cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and electronic cigarettes.
- Smoking Violation Fine: Any violation of the no-smoking policy will result in a fine to cover the cost of professional cleaning services required to remove smoke smell and nicotine residue. The specific fine amount will be determined based on the vendor’s charges for these services.
- No Pets Allowed: Pets are not permitted during your stay.
- No Events or Parties: Events and parties are not allowed. Please respect our neighbors and maintain a peaceful environment.
- Drinking Water: Tap water is sourced from the lake and is not suitable for drinking. A 5-gallon water cooler dispenser is provided for your convenience, but please bring your own drinking water.
- Identification Required: A copy of a valid driver’s license and vehicle license plate number will be required prior to your stay.
- Rental Agreement: Depending on the length of your stay, an additional rental agreement may be required.
- Garbage Disposal: Clear bags and recycling bags are provided. Guests are responsible for disposing of garbage at checkout. A fee of $25 per bag will be charged for any garbage left behind.
- Minimum Age to Rent: 30 years old.
- Children: Children of all ages are welcome.
- Fireworks: Fireworks are not permitted on the property.
- Safety Features: The property is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and deadbolt lock.
- Exterior Security Cameras: Security cameras are installed on the exterior of the premises for safety and security purposes. They are not monitored continuously and are reviewed only in the event of an issue or concern.
